Capital Speed Planner
How much, by when, and what can the business offer? The timeline shows every capital source side by side — and which ones land before your deadline.
How do you read the timeline?
Each row is a capital source. The bar runs from today out to the earliest point that source could realistically land for the amount you've chosen. The lime line is your deadline. Rows that finish before it light up; rows that finish after it stay violet; rows that don't suit your amount or security fade out. Tap any row to read how that source works.
Five time windows are used: today, 24–48 hours, this week, two to four weeks and a month or more. They're deliberately broad. Business capital doesn't run to a stopwatch — it runs on documents, security checks and how quickly everyone answers the phone.
Why does what you can offer change the answer so much?
Speed comes from certainty. The faster a lender can be confident about how it gets repaid, the faster it can say yes. That's why the planner asks what the business can put forward:
- Property — residential or commercial. This opens the fastest lanes: caveat loans, second mortgages and private first mortgages. $20k to $250k is possible the same day, and up to $5m is possible within 24–48 hours.
- Unpaid invoices to other businesses. Invoice finance turns money you're already owed into cash now; the first set-up takes the longest.
- The equipment you're buying. Equipment finance is secured on the asset itself, so a supplier quote moves it along.
- Steady card or online sales. Revenue-based funding is repaid as a share of takings.
- None of these. The unsecured lane still works for trading businesses, sized on turnover and bank statements — typically $5,000 to $500,000, with same-day funding possible for smaller amounts.
What about trading history?
Unsecured lenders want to see the business working. Under six months of trading, the unsecured and line-of-credit lanes mostly close, and property becomes the practical route. Between six and twelve months, they open but usually take a little longer. Past twelve months with clean bank statements, they move quickest. Bad credit and ATO debt don't automatically shut any lane; they're considered case by case.
How do I turn the plan into money?
Take a screenshot of your timeline, then start a 60-second enquiry. A real person looks at your amount, deadline and security and tells you which lane is genuinely open — not a list of every lender who might bite. If the fastest lane isn't the right long-term structure, they'll tell you that too, and how to step from one to the other.
Getting ready helps: see our checklist of documents for fast funding and the things that slow a deal down. If you're not sure how much you need, run the working capital gap calculator first.
No credit check to enquire
Finding out what could land, and when, leaves your credit file untouched. A credit check only comes up once you choose to proceed.
No spray-and-pray
We don't fire your details at a list of lenders and wait to see who bites. One specialist works out where your enquiry belongs.
A real person on it
A human reads your enquiry and calls you. Accurate form answers let them line up the right capital source on the first call.
Fill the form in accurately — especially the amount, your state and any property you own — and we can line up the right option on the first call. When you're ready, see if you qualify.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Capital Speed Planner an offer of finance?
No. It's a planning guide that shows which kinds of business capital usually suit your amount, deadline and security. A lending specialist confirms what's actually possible once they understand your situation.
Why does property make such a difference to speed?
Property gives the lender security it can verify quickly — a title search, an idea of value and what's already owed. That's why $20k to $250k is possible the same day and up to $5m is possible within 24–48 hours on property-secured loans.
Can I get money today without property?
Sometimes. Same-day funding is possible for smaller unsecured amounts where the business is trading and its bank statements support the request. Larger unsecured amounts take a little longer to assess.
What does the 'guide' tag mean on some lanes?
Those lanes — line of credit, invoice finance, card-sales funding, equipment finance and bank loans — show typical market timings rather than a speed we state for our own options. They're there so you can compare every route in one place.
Does using the planner affect my credit file?
No. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere. And when you do enquire, there's no credit check when you first enquire either.
What if nothing lands in time?
Talk to a specialist anyway. Deals can often be staged — a smaller fast amount now, with a larger or cheaper facility following — so the urgent bill is covered while the bigger structure is put together.
